Born and raised in Connecticut, Dr. Plunske began her journey at the University of Hartford, followed by extensive clinical training at the New England College of Optometry. Her hands-on experience spans a wide range of settings, from Boston’s community health centers to high-end private practices and Veterans Hospitals, shaping her ability to deliver both personalized and comprehensive care.

Dr. Plunske is committed to the well-being of her patients, focusing on offering attentive treatment for both adults and children. Whether you’re here for a routine eye exam or specialized care, Dr. Plunske’s approach is centered on understanding your unique needs and providing solutions tailored to your lifestyle.

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Plunske finds joy in Connecticut’s beautiful outdoors. An avid hiker, skier, and photographer, she understands firsthand the importance of clear vision in fully appreciating life’s most cherished moments.

Dr. Tommasina Sideris, O.D. is a 1998 honors graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry and has been practicing full-scope optometry for over two decades. Certified in both TPA and DPA, Dr. Sideris is licensed to use and prescribe medical eye drops, allowing her to offer a wide range of medical treatments for eye conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, and infections. Her commitment to providing comprehensive, personalized care has earned her a reputation for excellence in the communities she has served.

In 1999, Dr. Sideris started her own practice in the quaint town of Harrisville, MI, where she quickly became a trusted provider of vision care. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to design her own line of sunglasses in 2007, which she successfully sold in her practice. A year later, she expanded her business by purchasing six additional optometric practices across Michigan, growing her reach while maintaining her dedication to quality patient care. Her leadership in managing multiple practices while balancing clinical responsibilities is a testament to her vision and drive.

Since relocating to Litchfield, CT in 2013 with her husband, Dr. Steven Sideris, and their son, Dr. Sideris has found joy in balancing her professional and personal life. Outside the clinic, she is a dedicated mother, actively involved in supporting her son’s pursuits in hockey, lacrosse, football, and music. Now fully settled in Litchfield, Dr. Sideris enjoys the close-knit community and looks forward to continuing her legacy of exceptional eye care.
